Hey Johnny,

Great question. I would recommend Jay Cutler at home versus a Detroit Lions Defense that focuses on stopping the run, but is vulnerable against the pass. Look for Cutler to throw a lot to his many capable targets that include Brandon Marshall, Matt Forte and Alshon Jeffrey.

I trust S-Jax more if he plays though LeShoure’s upside in this offense in unreal

I found your site from Fantasy Pros, your week 1 rankings mirror my line of thinking more than the others. So valuing your opinion I was wondering if you could give me advise on who to start…
I have to start 2RBs 2WRs and one flex and my roster is as follows:

RB Ray Rice
RB Willis McGahee
RB Adrian Peterson
RB Ryan Williams
RB Mark Ingram
WR Roddy White
WR Brandon Lloyd
WR Vincent Jackson

Typically I like to start 3 RBs just based on volume, but week 1 seems really difficult as I wait for AP to heal, Ingram and Williams to emerge, and McGahee plays Pittsburgh! So I think 3WRs would be the way to go here. The question is if you agree who do I start with Ray Rice?

Hi Jaycee,

Sleeper has different connotations, including making fantasy owners fall asleep. I agree that Smith doesn’t jump off the stat sheet, but it’s not like we’re going to start him besides during a bye week. That’s why I’m listing him as a sleeper. By the way, not even close to a 49ers fan!
