Fantasy Basketball Box Score Boxing 10.27.10 – Blake Griffin Arrives

In Fantasy Basketball Box Score Boxing Win My Fantasy League writer Rizzla takes a look at the previous nights most interesting fantasy lines and provides some insight and analysis to utilize going forward.

103882839HH005_Portland_TraBlake Griffin put on a show with 22 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and is looking like he may even exceed expectation this season. ROY favorite. My advice wait until he has a down game and go all in to acquire.

Congratulations if you drafted Luis Scola…36 points and 16 rebounds and Scola shows no signs of slowing down and may actually average close to 20 ppg this season when all is said and done. Wow.

David Lee picked right up where he left off last season and finished the night with an efficient 17 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists and it is apparent that Monta Ellis (46 points) and Stephen Curry (25 points and 11 assists) can all co-exist in this offense and reach their fantasy potentials.

Joakim Noah had a huge fantasy night with 18 points, 19 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocks. Shame on you for continually passing him over during your draft.

Russell Westbrook continues to impress and finished the night with 28 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. He also added 2 steals and a blocked shot.

Sacramento big men Carl Landry and rookie DeMarcus Cousins both had solid fantasy nights up front for the Kings as Landry finished with 22 and 11 while Cousins finished with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists.

Wilson Chandler had 22 points, 8 rebounds and 2 blocked shots off the bench is making a case to be the super 6th man for the Knicks or to replace Landry Fields in the starting lineup where he probably deserves to be based on talent alone.

Popular late draft season sleeper Toney Douglas had only 10 points and 4 rebounds.

Amare narrowly missed a dubious triple-double finishing the night with 19 points, 10 rebounds and 9 turnovers.

Reggie Evans had 16 rebounds for the Raptors and is looking like he is worth a roster spot as long as he remains in the starting lineup. He played 33 minutes tonight and that total is likely to fall to the 26-28 minute range in the near future.

Jose Calderon had 7 assists of the bench and proved once again that he is fantasy roster worthy even coming off the bench.

Andrea Bargnani managed only 22 points on 21 shots but added a welcomed 2 blocks.

Jarrett Jack got the start for the Raptors and played starters minutes ending the night with 16 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals.

Rookie Derrick Favors had 8 points and 10 rebounds and needs to be added in all leagues as his role will only contiue to expand.

Brook Lopez finished the night with 25 points, 9 rebounds and 3 blocks and is in line for a monster season.

James Jones had 6 3-pointers for the Heat and will be one of their main long distance marksman as long as Mike Miller remains out. Make the add if you need the long-distance shooter.

Louis Williams had 15 points and 7 assists and played well as a PG with Jrue Holiday off the floor.

Rookie Evan Turner had 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and is going to reward owners that took a chance on him on draft day. He finished the night on 7 for 10 shooting and also chipped in a blocked shot.

Celtics Cavaliers BasketballJ.J Hickson finished the night with 21 points and 6 rebounds and did it on an efficient 8 for 11 shooting. He also added a block and should prove to be an incredible fantasy value based on ADP. More big games are ahead so see if you can buy-low before the window passes.

Boobie Gibson had 16 points and 8 assists and needs to be on fantasy watch lists.

Rajon Rondo is looking like a fantasy beast and finished the night with 18 points, 9 assists, 4 rebounds and 3 steals. Congratulations if you drafted Rajon Rondo.

Zaza Pachulia had 17, 11 and 2 off the bench for the Hawks and needs to be added where possible.

Mike Conley had 23 points, 8 assists and 5 rebounds and had a solid fantasy night.

Andrew Bogut had 15 and 15 and looked solid for the Bucks. He looks back in top form and will prove an excellent ADP value throughout the season.

Chris Paul had a massive double double with 17 points and 16 assists. He also added 4 rebounds.

Roy Hibbert has 28 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 blocks. The points are a welcome surprise and if he has a few more scoring outbursts like this it may be time to bump him up the rankings.

Ageless wonder Jason Kidd racked up 18 dimes and 13 points with 3 steals  for a monster fantasy night.

Dirk Nowitzki had 28 and 13 for the Mavericks and showed why he is a consensus 1st rounder in fantasy basketball drafts.

Shelden Williams had 18 rebounds tonight and is a nice short-term add in deeper leagues.

Marcus Camby had a strong fantasy night with 11, 14 and 3 and should be a great C until Oden comes back.

Anthony Tolliver had a solid night for the T-Wolves with 4 blocks and he needs to be on fantasy radars. Team-mate Darko Milicic also had 4 blocks and is a good pickup if you have the roster space.

Luke Ridnour had 20 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds and should be a rock-solid PG option until Jonny Flynn returns from injury next month.

Taj Gibson is a solid pickup until Carlos Boozer returns and finished the night with 16 and 11.
