Hot Pickups – Week Eleven

Danny Amendola – With Julian Edelman out with a broken foot the injury prone but high weekly upside Danny Amendola sees a huge value boost and should operate as the 1a to Brandon LaFell’s 1b. With Edelman and Dion Lewis both injured there are plenty of targets to go around and Amendola becomes one of the hottest pickups of the season. Amendola is a rock solid Draftkings play this week and should be started in all league sizes going forward. View the 71 percent available as a upside WR2 going forward.

Matt Jones – Available in 53 percent of Yahoo! leagues Jones had 11 carries for a respectable 56 yards in week ten but went crazy in the pass game parlaying three receptions into 131 yards and a score. Jones was leading Washington’s backfield in touches in the first half before ceding work to closer Alfred Morris with the game out of hand. The takeaway here is that Matt Jones may have finally passed Morris on the depth chart and should be treated accordingly.

Jay Ayaji – Ayaji is showing the fantasy world why we were so low on Lamar Miller coming into the season prior to Ayaji’s injury. Ayaji looks like a better fit for the Dolphins offense and should soon start to operate as the passing down back who will gradually force a near even time split before ostensibly relegating Lamar Miller to the COP role he is more suited for. Ayaji only has two games under his belt but has been averaging 8.9 yards per carry and is bound to see his role grow from week to week. Add the 82 percent available Ayaji where possible.

Dorial Green-Beckham – White Kendall Wright expected to miss week ten and Justin Hunter on injured reserve Dorial Green-Beckham has officially risen to flex status. DGB will be operating as one of the Titans top two receivers and should sprinkle in some big games down the stretch. Available in 76 percent of Yahoo! leagues Beckham will likely be one of the top waiver wire adds for the rest of the season so use your FAAB or waiver priority accordingly.

James White – James White has been operating as the Patriots passing down back and while it has not yet led to fantasy production it is only a matter of time before he makes an impact on the stat sheet. Still available in 61 percent of Yahoo! leagues White should push for upside flex value in short order. Add White to the end of your bench where possible.

Brock Osweiler – At the helm of the explosive Broncos offense Osweiler has some potential upside for those in two QB leagues or for owners with the roster space to make a speculative add. While the Broncos are citing injury as the reason Peyton Manning is not expected to suit up in week eleven the fact is he has been bad for the majority of the season and they are resting him to get him healthy rather than have him play hurt and continue to be ineffective. Not much is known about the former second round pick in Brock but he has one of the best situations in football and could put up top-15 numbers any week he is given a start.
