Hot Pickups – Week Ten

Karlos Williams – Karlos Williams has really shined in a change of pace role for the Bills and did so once again this past Sunday shredding the Dolphins defense for 110 yards and two touchdowns on just nine carries. Williams has always possessed mega talent and only dropped in the draft due to off field issues and is someone who is for real. Williams seems to be thriving with the players coach in Rex Ryan and learning behind one of the game’s best in Lesean McCoy. Williams is a strong buy in dynasty for all of you who have not already made the move and is a flex2 option with RB2 upside but a bench floor week to week. With Lesean McCoy banged up with a new shoulder injury owners should look to add Williams wherever possible.

Marcus Mariota – Mariota is a gamer. Marcus Mariota lit up a soft Saints defense and proved once again that he is one of the best young talents in the league with a 371 yard, four touchdown performance in week nine. Mariota is still available in 65 percent of Yahoo! leagues and will be a solid streaming option down the stretch. Roster Mariota if you have the need and the roster space.

James Starks – Available in 62 percent of Yahoo! leagues owners should have seen week nine coming. The Panthers are tough defense and Eddie Lacy has been hobbled by nagging injuries all season long; add gameflow to that and James Starks was the more valuable back in week nine. With that said the trend this season has been seeing James Starks get going in the Packers tougher matchups; looking ahead the Packers next two tough matchups come in week 15 and 16 which make Starks a high upside speculative add for owners who look to be going to the playoffs and have the roster space for an upside matchup based flier. Add Starks where needed.

Antonio Andrews – Available in 49 percent of Yahoo! leagues Andrews is likely the only starter you may find sitting on your league’s wire in competitive custom leagues. Andrews should be good for upside RB3 level production until further notice and he should see more open lanes now that Marcus Mariota has returned as is balling. Andrews was solid in week nine as he amassed 88 yards on 19 carries and hauled in one of his two targets for 23 yards. Add Andrews where needed.

Dorial Green-Beckham – Justin Hunter continues to start but DGB is quickly becoming one of Marcus Mariota’s favorite targets as this past week he led the Titans with ten targets which he converted for five receptions and 77 yards. This target explosion came with Kendall Wright out of the lineup but may be indicative of where he stands in regards to the other receivers in Mariota and Mularkey’s minds. DGB is still available in 87 percent of Yahoo! leagues and is a strong add now that he seems to have ascended the target pecking order.

Marvin Jones – More of a deep league or standard league special Marvin Jones is a solid red zone weapon for the Bengals and will have his share of good weeks the rest of the way. Available in 52 percent of Yahoo! leagues Jones is a solid bench stash in shallower leagues and is a WR4/WR5 option in deeper, competitive leagues.
