Hot Pickups – Week Two

Mike Wallace – As discussed in our week one hot pickups Wallace and Flacco had been showing solid chemistry all offseason and it has not showed up on game day. Add Wallace wherever possible as an upside WR3 going forward. Wallace is available in 65 percent of Yahoo! Leagues.

Mohamed Sanu – Sanu had a healthy eight targets for the Falcons in week one and should continue to be a solid PPR contributor even when he is not finding the end zone like he did in week one. Add the 55 percent available Sanu wherever needed as a flex2 with WR3 upside.

Will Fuller – Will Fuller is high on talent and speed and Brock Osweiler proved this weekend that he does not have to long bomb to make Fuller productive which is a major boon for his fantasy stock. Believe it or not Will Fuller led the Texans in targets and this is a trend we may some continue with Brock not liking to test double coverage like other quarterbacks Hopkins had last year. Add the 51 percent available Fuller wherever possible as a flex2 option with WR3 upside.

Quincy Enunwa – Available in 99 percent of Yahoo leagues Enunwa piled up seven receptions of eight targets this past Sunday he may continue to be productive for the Jets this season.

Tevin Coleman – All of our regular readers know we had Coleman ranked over Freeman this season but in case you are a first time visitor Coleman is the superior talent here. Freeman has proven to be a very good if inconsistent running back but Tevin Coleman has the chance to be truly special if he can hold onto the ball and he showed us some glimpses in week one. Available in 58 percent of Yahoo! Leagues Coleman needs to be added wherever available as a flex option with RB1 upside.

Phillip Dorsett – Available in 61 percent of Yahoo! Leagues Dorsett looks like he will have solid bye week filler/flex3 appeal this season. He finished this Sundays shootout with the lions with 94 receiving yards and is a solid add for those who may miss out on the other receivers on this list. Dorsett will truly explode if TY Hilton or Donte Moncrief go down and should be owned in all competitive leagues.

Tajae Sharpe – Sharpe was as advertised this past Sunday versus the Vikings and racked up seven receptions off of 11 targets. Sharpe looked like a veteran out there and has an obvious rapport with Marcus Mariota as was talked up all summer. Add Sharpe as a WR3 option going forward. Tajae Sharpe is available in 54 percent of Yahoo! Leagues.

Chris Hogan – Available in 69 percent of Yahoo! Leagues Hogan omy racked up four targets and three receptions this past Sunday night but it became apparent he is a significant part of the weekly gameplan and he should really be ready to explode when Tom Brady returns. Hogan only managed 60 yards and a TD in week one but expect his role to expand weekly. Add Hogan as a WR4 option.

Eli Rogers – Available in 92 percent of Yahoo! Leagues Rogers went off for the Steelers on Monday night as expected. Rogers racked up six receptions for 59 yards and a touchdown in his first NFL game and he should have even more room to operate once Wheaton and Bell return to the lineup. Rogers looks like he will have some solid PPR outings this season and projects as a WR5 with WR4 upside.

James White – Available in 46 percent of Yahoo! Leagues James white piled up seven targets for Patriots in week one and figures to remain heavily involved on the passing game going forward. White is a solid flex2 in PPR formats albeit with a bench floor. Add White where possible if you need a solid bye week filler or have larger rosters.
