QB Rankings – Week Six

Philip Rivers continues his strong play and has made everyone eat crow for questioning whether or not his skill set had diminished and for questioning his young and talented trio of receivers following the Floyd injury. Rivers will keep the good times rolling against the Colts this week. Rivers is fourth is passing yards and tied for 2nd in the NFL with 13 TD’s so far this season.

Peyton Manning continues his run as the top ranked fantasy QB, a spot he will occupy every week the Broncos play. Manning already has 20 touchdowns in five games putting him on pace for an unreal 60+ touchdowns, a number that seems unrealistic at first glance but is entirely possible with the weapons Peyton has at his disposal. Peyton Manning with Demaryius, Welker, Julius and Decker is just unfair to opposing defenses. I am very interested to see the Broncos play the Chiefs in weeks eleven and thirteen.

Where does Tony Romo land after his career high performance? Facing a very beatable Redskins secondary and with Austin inching closer to a return Romo comes in as a top ten QB, where we currently have him ranked at 7th. Our rankings are live and constantly updated so he may drop or rise before game time.

Matthew Stafford is currently ranked eighth in our rankings with Calvin Johnson expected to return this week. Rotoworld is reporting he will be a game-time call but Megatron has not missed many games in his career and was reportedly close last week to suiting up.

Chad Henne will make an appearance on this weeks sit em, start em list with a date against the Broncos on the schedule. The Broncos opened up as 28 point favorites in this one and it is expected to get out of hand in short order leaving Henne, Blackmon and Shorts to be garbage time all-stars potentially for the entire second half. Henne is ranked as a top-20 option this week.
