QB Rankings – Week Sixteen

Kirk Cousins will be starting for Washington for the rest of the season and looked impressive in week fifteen versus the Falcons putting up 381 passing yards and three touchdowns. The Falcons horrible secondary may not be the best gauge of a players potential fantasy value but Cousins has an even better matchup this week versus a Cowboys defense that has surrendered the 2nd most fantasy points to the quarterback position. Add Cousins if your week sixteen opponent needs a QB or if you happened to make it this far with a less appealing option. Cousins is a QB2 and should be started in all two QB leagues.

Jason Campbell has been a fantasy force as a starter but this week he will be missing Jordan Cameron and cannot be expected to sneak into the top ten in terms of fantasy production for the week when all is said and done. Campbell struggled to get the ball to Josh Gordon last week and may have similar difficulties without his number two option on the lineup. Those in two QB leagues will still want to start Campbell but those in single QB leagues trying to play the plus matchup may want to look elsewhere.

Unfortunately for his owners Matt Ryan is looking like a recommended sit for week sixteen versus the 49ers. The 49ers have surrendered the third least fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks and those in single QB leagues should already have a better option on their roster when you take into account Ryan’s struggles all season. Leave Ryan on the bench if you can help it.
