Sit em, Start em – Week Twelve

Start em

TJ Yeldon – Yeldon has a plus matchup this week against a Chargers team giving up the most fantasy points to opposing running backs. While one may worry about gameflow limiting Yeldon’s potential touches we should remember that the Chargers are struggling right now and are down two of their top receivers while their tight end is hobbled and playing at far less than 100 percent. Yeldon is one of the rare workhorses in the NFL and has the makings of an RB1 for week twelve. Try to find a way to start Yeldon if you have him.

Thomas Rawls – Thomas Rawls is set to start against the Steelers in week twelve a week after going bonkers for 209 rushing yards and a score through the air. Start Rawls everywhere.

Terrance Williams – It only took one game for Terrence Williams to reestablish his fantasy value once Tony Romo returned to the Cowboys lineup. Williams is one of our hot pickups this week and will be a solid WR4 with upside the rest of the way. Williams has WR3 talent but is still a weekly boom or bust play at this point of his career, fortunately he will have more ups than downs now that he doesn’t have to function as the number one receiver anymore nor does he have to catch passes from the likes of Brandon Weeden

Kamar Aiken – Kamar Aiken needs to be started in custom leagues as the de facto number one receiver for a banged up Ravens offense. Aiken is one of the few healthy playmakers on the Ravens offense and should be started as a flex option in custom leagues. Aiken has been seeing steady target volume over the past few weeks and one has to believe that will continue even with the switch to Matt Schaub at quarterback. Start Aiken where needed.

Brian Hoyer – Brian Hoyer is an obvious streamer special with a date with the New Orleans Saints on the docket this week. The Saints have surrendered the most fantasy points to opposing signal callers and should give up a bid day to Hoyer and his favorite toy Deandre Hopkins. Brian Hoyer is a borderline QB1 this week and should be a legitimate streaming option especially for owners unfortunate enough to have been relying on Joe Flacco in deeper formats. Start Hoyer in deeper 12 team leagues.

JJ Nelson – JJ Nelson had a breakout game in week eleven but that was due to injuries to Michael Floyd and to John Brown who played hurt for the second week in a row. Nelson may be an option in the absolute deepest of leagues but is still no more than a WR5/6 and should not be on the radar to start this week. Sit Nelson where possible.

Dontrelle Inman – Inman is listed a starter but should be glued to fantasy benches until he can prove himself on the field. In most scenarios Inman was not drafted to start and thus you should have some other options at your disposal this week. Inman is still worth keeping at the end of your bench due to the Keenan Allen and Malcom Floyd injuries but is not someone we can trust as of yet.

Ryan Tannehill – The much ballyhooed quarterback has been too inconsistent to trust in fantasy and in real life. Hopefully by now you have other starting options at your avail and as hard as it may be to sit Tannehill he is not someone you want to trust down the stretch especially with a tough matchup against the Jets on tap for week twelve. Sit Tannehill.

Jeremy Langford – Matt Forte looks to be a go for this Thursday’s Thanksgiving day matchup with the Packers which means Langford belongs on fantasy benches for the time being. Langford looked solid while running as the starter and deserves a spot on fantasy benches as a high upside stash and top handcuff with the potential to turn into a flex2 option if he can generate a steady amount of touches with Forte back in the lineup. Sit Langford everywhere until we see the size of his role.

Spencer Ware – Spencer Ware looked to have worked his way into the gameplan with this past Sunday’s performance but Charcandrick West is likely to be back this week which means the hot pickup is better left on fantasy benches until we see how large a role he is given with West still in the game. Those in deeper leagues may have no choice but to roll with Ware but we should view Ware as more of a flex3 than a flex2 this week. Sit Ware this week until we see how many touches are a reasonable projection from week to week.
