Week 14 RB Rankings

Adrian Peterson is number one this week and is another player on pace for a career year and who will be threatening 2,000 yards on the season. AP’s pace of 120.5 rushing yards per game would put him at 1,928 rushing yards for the season. AP has averaged 167 yards rushing over his past four and gets two of those same teams over the last four which leads one to believe that a 2,000 yard rushing season is firmly within this superhuman’s grasp. Never again will we doubt a running back coming back from an ACL tear…especially if he is a gifted athlete like Adrian Peterson. AP is a top three fantasy back the rest of the way.

Alfred Morris is tied for the lead in rushing yards for rookies with Doug Martin with both of them sitting at 1,106 yards (3rd in NFL) through just thirteen games apiece, leaving them both on pace for 1,350 yards for the season. Morris has been rock solid despite the fact he plays with a QB that has vultured more than six touchdowns and over 100 carries. Morris is still developing as a PPR asset and we should see him provide more value in the passing game as soon as next year.

Mikel LeShoure is the power back the Detroit Lions were looking for. The Lions currently have more of a pass blocking offensive line and LeShoure has yet to show us his best stuff leading one to believe multiple 1,000 yard, 10 TD seasons are on the horizon the the Lions running back. LeShoure currently sits at seven TD’s despite being suspended for the first two games of the regular season.
