Week Eight Rankings

Fresh off a week seven that saw Andrew Luck rush for two touchdowns and throw for 186 yards through the air Andrew Luck’s fantasy arrow is pointing up and he now firmly entrenched in the weekly QB1 conversation. Luck squares off against a Titans squad giving up two touchdowns and 288 yards per game through the air in week eight.

Demaryius Thomas seems to be in store for a monstrous game against a weak Saints secondary this week. Vincent Jackson was the most recent to destroy the Saints downfield as he amassed over 200 yards through the air in week seven.

Alfred Morris squares off against the Steelers this weekend but we here at WMFL are not worried. Number two in the entire NFL in rushing after seven weeks Alfred Morris has proven that he is for real and that he is not going anywhere. Morris has proven that he is matchup proof in the Redskins one-cut zone blocking scheme and he should have another big game this week. Morris has become more involved in the passing game in recent weeks further buoying his already sky high value. Morris is the leading candidate for ADP MVP for the 2012 fantasy football season.

Luke Kuechly has been a beast with Jon Beason out of the lineup and despite Beason’s immense talent, Kuechly may actually be better suited for the middle due to his run stuffing ability and lateral movement and burst which has made him a very prolific IDP option over the past two weeks. Kuechly is a LB1 as long as Beason is out of the lineup and will remain and LB1 if the Panthers decide to shift Beason to OLB.
