Week Five Rankings

With the Detroit Lions on bye this week A.J Green is the number one receiver for week five. Green has always had the talent, arguably more than Julio Jones but Andy Dalton averageness has held him back from beingĀ labelledĀ as arguably a top-two talent at the receiver position with Fitzgerald and Megatron. This season he has been the most consistent receiver scoring.

Drew Brees looks like a top three play this week with Rizzla ranking him in as number one and Zach ranking him in at number three. The run game has been ineffective thus far this year so Drew Brees will continue to be Drew Brees.

Alfred Morris is the real deal. Forget all the nonsense you were told in the first two weeks of the season, even those naysayers are believers now. Morris has provided RB1 value thus far this season despite not being involved in the passing game as anything more than a blocker. Morris got his first reception last week and there is a reason to believe his role as a receiver will grow as the season wears on. I have Morris ranked as the number seven back for this week.
