Week Nine Rankings

Despite a unremarkable week eight RGIII is still a top three option this week against a Panthers defense that is susceptible to the run. There is also the train of thought that a matchup against last years rookie of the year will get RGIII’s competitive juices flowing to another level. Either way RGIII is a must start in all formats and should have a very good week.

Randall Cobb has entered the weekly WR1 discussion and shows no signs of looking back. He is still inconsistent as far as yardage is concerned but with Greg Jennings hurt and Jordy Nelson also on the mend, Cobb has seized the opportunity and ascended on Aaron Rodgers’ mental depth chart. Buy now if possible.

Doug Martin aka the muscle hamster is a RB1 option for the rest of the season. He is beginning to earn more and more of the coaching staffs trust and his role is expanding because of it. Martin unlike Blount last year stays involved even if the Bucs are down.

Jason Witten has always been a favorite of Tony Romo and will continue to rack up the targets now that he is healthy. Witten is a weekly top eight option at the tight end position.

JJ Watt is an IDP1 yet again. He is a beast and has been one of the most impressive players in all of football this year. Only the more heralded JPP and Jared Allen can hold a candle to the impressive Texans defensive lineman.
