Week Three Rankings

At wide receiver DeSean Jackson has seen himself rise all the way to WR1 territory. He looks almost unstoppable with Vick in Chip Kelly’s offense and despite racking up nine receptions for 193 yards he left over 130 yards on the field on passes that he barely missed corralling in. DeSean was always a special talent but is really breaking out in this new system sans Jeremy Maclin.

Josh Gordon returns this week and see himself immediately ranked as a WR2. The Browns have been desperate for Gordon. Brandon Weeden is on the injury report and if he misses the game Gordon will get knocked back to WR3 level.

T.Y Hilton looks to have surpassed DHB on the depth chart after racking up a career high 124 yards and is locked in as a WR3 for the time being.

Eddie Royal continued his stellar play actually topping his two touchdown week one with a three touchdown week three and is locked and loaded as a WR3 option going forward. Many receivers won’t score five touchdowns all season.

At running back we saw injuries to Steven Jackson, Ray Rice, Eddie Lacy, Maurice Jones-Drew and Reggie Bush. We rank their backups in this order: Bernard Pierce, Joique Bell, James Starks, Jordan Todman, Jason Snelling, Justin Forsett, Johnathan Franklin, Mikel LeShoure if active and than Jacquizz Rodgers.

Marshawn Lynch is a top three play this week against a pedestrian Jaguars squad while KnowShown Moreno looks like an RB3 play against Oakland. Montee Ball also looks to finally find some holes against a pitiful Raiders team the Broncos are expected to be milking the clock early against.

Rob Gronkowski is expected back in week three and debuts at the number two spot he will occupy all season. We have Julius Thomas locked in as a top five option this week and perhaps going forward.

At quarterback Michael Vick has re-established himself as a an elite fantasy option and finds himself in the top five where he will reside until the wheels fall off. Josh Freeman takes a mighty tumble after failing to capitalize on a tasty matchup against the Saints. Philip Rivers strong play to start the season made it 15 vying for QB1 rankings every week.

Kiko Alonso has the makings of an IDP stud and has already entered the LB1 conversation. Chandler Jones is locked in as a DE1 and is primed to have a breakout campaign.

Without further adieu here are our live and constantly updated week three rankings:
