Win My Fantasy League Fantasy Basketball Cheat Sheet

The Win My Fantasy League Team has compiled a cheat sheet for all of our fantasy basketball readers to take advantage of.

It is essentially a quick reference guide to use when drafting.

Some major fantasy sports providers don’t provide access to last seasons averages so J-Has has got you covered!

This is based on the yahoo O-ranks, but takes the yahoo player totals and averages them to give you a better head-to-head idea of each player’s production.

deron_williams_kobe_defenseThe most interesting thing I was able to gather was that Deron Williams is closer to Chris Paul that I had originally thought:

Chris Paul: 18.7 PPG, 1.2 3PTM, 4.2 REB, 10.7 AST, 2.1 STL, 0.2 BLK,

Deron Williams:  18.7 PPG, 1.3 3PTM, 4.0 REB, 10.5 AST, 1.3 STL, 0.2 BLK

The steals being over 2.0 is what makes Chris Paul a #1 overall consideration in fantasy basketball but Deron Williams is not far behind statistically.

  3. Is this the current Yahoo rankings with 2009 stats? What is the differnce between Rank and 0-Rank?
    Thanks
    Keith

  4. Hi Keith,

Yes, in order of Yahoo’s ranking, we have taken each player’s total stats and divided it by the number of games to determine their per game averages.

The “O-Ranks” represent Yahoo’s current rankings (forecast)
The “Ranks” represent the 2009-2010 season performance (last year’s performance) based on the categories shown.

    Hope that helps,
    J-Has

  5. Can you list both Yahoo and your top 200 players? You only have them broken up by possition.

    Thanks Keith
