WR Rankings – Week 16

Kendall Wright had his coming out party in week fifteen with twelve catches for 150 yards against the Cardinals. Wright is now up to 85 receptions and 1002 yards on the season and may crack 100 receptions by the time the season is over. Wright is a solid WR2 in standard leagues and has significant WR1 upside in PPR formats. Wright comes in as our 24th ranked wideout play for week sixteen.

Alshon Jeffery is a true football beast and has become a top-25 wide receiver in the National Football League. In fantasy he is in a position to go off each and every week as he feasts on single coverage across from Brandon Marshall. Jeffery comes in as a WR1 this week as the Bears square off against an Eagles defense giving up the most fantasy points to the wide receiver position on the season.

Marques Colston comes in as our 23rd ranked receiver for week sixteen as he has a tough matchup versus the formidable Panthers defense. Colston would be ranked lower if not for Drew Brees and is someone those in shallow leagues may want to consider sitting if he is one of your flex options. The Panthers have allowed the 3rd fewest fantasy points to opposing wide receivers and will key in on Colston this week after he smashed them for 125 yards and two touchdowns off nine receptions.

Ace Sanders is going to be a popular play in some circles with Cecil Shorts placed on injured reserve but we are here to tell you not to play him. As if the extra defensive attention he will be receiving as the number one is not enough the Jaguars square off against a Titans defense that has allowed the second fewest fantasy points to opposing wide receivers.
