WR Rankings – Week Nine

Keenan Allen has solidified himself as the Chargers number one receiver and a top-25 talent in the league at his position. Allen comes in as a top ten option this week against Washington’s forgiving pass defense.

Darrius Heyward-Bey finds himself ranked as a WR2 for week nine with a game against the Texans on the slate. We expect the Texans to focus on stopping T.Y Hilton and the long bomb opening things up for DHB to operate in space in search of yards after the catch.

Marvin Jones clocks in as a WR3 option this week after his scintillating four touchdowns performance in week eight. Jones has earned himself more snaps going forward and will remain a top option in the red zone. Jones is a safer play in standard leagues than PPR formats.

Steve Smith comes in as a WR1 for the first time this season as the Panthers look to embarrass a overmatched Falcons secondary. The Falcons defense is horrible apart from their defensive line and Steve Smith should surpass 80 yards and a score in this one.

Dez Bryant comes in as the number one receiver option this week against the Vikings. It is hard enough to stop Bryant when you have a good secondary. When a team is missing its top playmaker and regularly gets demolished by opposing wideouts we have the recipe for a fantasy bonanza.
