In 2018 redraft leagues the quarterback position is truly loaded however when it comes to dynasty owners need to worry about the long term as well while focusing on the short term and that leads to a more muddy picture when it comes to discerning which QB’s to rank where especially when the advanced age of two first ballot Hall of Famers are among the elite redraft options.
Deshaun Watson and Carson Wentz man two of the top three spots in our redraft rankings and do the same here in our dynasty rankings as they trail only Aaron Rodgers. After that you can see the change as Brady and Brees are all the way down at 11 at 12 respectively with Lamar Jackson coming in at number five overall due to his insane upside and Andrew Luck at number eight overall as we expect him to be fully healthy with no question marks and a better receiver corps for 2019 and beyond.
Baker Mayfield is our second highest ranked rookie as despite losing Corey Coleman he still has an array of receiving weapons in Josh Gordon, Jarvis Landry, Antonio Callaway, David Njoku and Duke Johnson Jr.
