2018 Fantasy Football: Week Eight QB Rankings

0

With week eight upon us Rizzla takes a look at the quarterback position and ranks the projected point leaders.

Week seven saw Drew Brees join the 500 club while sophomore QB Mitch Trubisky who struggled mightily to open the season had yet another QB1 week with 333 passing yards, two passing touchdowns, 81 rushing yards and another score. Trubisky has not looked great in real life but he is stacking up the fantasy numbers and is the QB1 from weeks four through seven based on average fantasy points per game. Looking ahead to week eight Patrick Mahomes, is joined by Kirk Cousins and Andrew Luck to round out our top three options for the week while Case Keenum is buried as a borderline QB2 despite his plus plus matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs team he somehow managed to struggle against in week four. Elsewhere in Philadelphia we have Carson Wentz ranked as our 13th overall QB for week eight as the Eagles square off against the struggling Jaguars in London. In terms of on field product there are two marquee games this weekend aside from the London game as Kirk Cousins and the Minnesota Vikings take the New Orleans Saints at home and the Los Angeles Rams play host to Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers in battles of four of the NFC top teams.  These storylines and more are reflected in our week eight rankings for the QB position. As always we will be keeping our rankings updated throughout the weekend so be sure to check back frequently for our latest updates and thoughts.
