Rizzla invites you to kick back, light up a sac and react to his week eight running back rankings.

Week eight was a fun one at the running back position as we saw Marlon Mack and rookie Kerryon Johnson run for career highs with 126 and 158 yards respectively. Elsewhere Kenyan Drake saw his best game on the ground despite only six carries while Lamar Miller also posted a season high 100 yards rushing and found the end zone for the very first time this season. Looking ahead to week eight James Conner looks to have at least one more week as the Steelers featured back while Nick Chubb and Tarik Cohen make another appearance in the top-20. On the injury front we saw RB1 types Melvin Gordon and Dalvin Cook both miss their week seven matchups while the Oakland Raiders placed starting running back Marshawn Lynch on injured reserve, ending his fantasy season. Running backs to monitor health wise this week include standout rookie Sony Michel, middling starter Peyton Barber and workhorse but still volume dependent LeSean McCoy.

As per usual we will be updating our week eight running back rankings up until kickoff Sunday afternoon so be sure to check back often for our latest rankings and thoughts.
