Rizzla furnishes his running back rankings for week eleven and touches on the three new RB1’s who have made fantasy waves through ten weeks of the season.
Through ten weeks of the 2018 fantasy football season we have welcomed three new running backs to the weekly RB1 conversation. James Conner, Joe Mixon and James White have entered the realm of must starts and all possess excellent rest of season outlooks.
James Conner rewrote history books with his scintillating play this season becoming the first running back in history to rush for over 100 yards, rack up over 50 receiving yards and to score a touchdown in four straight games. The RB4 in average fantasy points per game, the uncertainty regarding Conner’s rest of season outlook has been quelled with Le’veon Bell failing to report to the Steelers by Tuesdays 4pm deadline.
James White has parlayed his elite receiving skills to land himself as the RB8 based on average fantasy points per game. The Patriots specialist leads all running backs with 89 targets, 66 receptions and 562 receiving yards. Bill Belichick loves White enough to keep every down back Sony Michel off the field on most passing downs so White’s role and usage are secure, at least until the end of the season.
Joe Mixon has flashed his immense talent this season, the RB10 in fantasy points per game Mixon’s 81.4 rushing yards per contest places him sixth among running backs. Mixon has been held back by game script and play calling and thus is just scratching the surface of his truly elite fantasy potential.
As always we will be updating our running back rankings for week eleven of the 2018 fantasy football season up until kickoff Sunday afternoon. Be sure to check back frequently for our latest updates and thoughts.
