Rizzla presents his waiver wire rankings and discusses the priority adds for week fifteen.

If you are reading this, congratulations on making your leagues semi finals. With just two weeks left in the fantasy football season the importance of making strategic adds has increased as a well placed block can hamper your potential opponents and clear your path to fantasy football glory. This week we will focus on players available in at least 55 percent of yahoo leagues that you will want to add to either shore up your own depth or to simply keep them off of your opponents rosters.

Robert Foster exploded in week fourteen to the tune of seven receptions for 104 yards. With players dropping like flies, Foster is a solid deep league add and has a solid schedule with the Lions and Patriots up next. Available in 99 percent of yahoo leagues Foster is the deep threat for cannon armed Josh Allen but showed an ability to produce on both short and intermediate routes in week fourteen which could lead to him seeing consistent production and volume for the rest of the fantasy playoffs.

Available in 93 percent of yahoo leagues Elijah McGuire finally showed up with 83 yards from scrimmage off of 20 touches. McGuire functioned as the lead back when starter Isaiah Crowell left the game with an injury and may finally be in a spot to pay dividends for owners who stashed him on the end of their benches. For those of us who may find him on the wire in one of our leagues McGuire is a RB3 type who is a priority add, especially if Crowell’s injury proves to be serious. With the Texans and Packers remaining on the schedule McGuire could carve out game script aided deeper ppr league value even if Crowell returns.

Kenneth DIxon continues to be a thorn in the side of Gus Edwards owners and has now generated standalone fantasy value. As one of the two most talented running backs on the roster Dixon is seeing a heavy dose of work weekly and put up 80 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown on only nine touches in week fourteen. Edwards will likely continue to start due to the Ravens success with him beside Lamar Jackson but Dixon will remain heavily involved as long as he keeps producing, limiting Edwards upside and giving him a lower fantasy floor. Available in 92 percent of yahoo leagues Dixon should be added as a flex2 in leagues he is still available in.

DaeSean Hamilton tallied seven receptions and a touchdown in week fourteen but managed just 47 yards of offense. Hamilton is a talented slot receiver with an expanded role following Emmanuel Sanders’ injury and his nine targets are a cause for optimism going forward. Available in 93 percent of yahoo leagues Hamilton should be added where at all possible, even if it is just to pancake block a playoff opponent. Hamilton could prove to be a solid deeper league ppr add with plus matchups against Briean Boddy-Calhoun and Nick Nelson when the Broncos play the Browns and Raiders in their next two contests respectively.

Available in 69 percent of Yahoo leagues Kenny Stills should be added where available. As has become clear throughout the past two seasons Kenny Stills has been Ryan Tannehill’s favorite receiver still on the team and proved it once again with his week fourteen explosion for eight receptions, 135 yards and a touchdown. Despite being in the top 20 in the league in air yards since Tannehill’s return consistency will always be an issue for the deep threat due to his mediocre QB but offers enough upside to be utilized as an injury replacement or simply for a well placed block. Add Stills where possible, even if it is just to keep him out of a rival owners hands.

Damien Williams is in line to be one of the hottest pickups of the week if Spencer Ware proves to have picked up a serious knock in the Chiefs week fourteen matchup against the Ravens. Ware returned to the game after suffering the injury suggesting he may be okay but playing on just three days rest Ware may not be cleared for Thursday night football if he in anyway aggravated his injury. While Williams was not very impressive efficiency wise this past weekend the 83 percent available back found the end zone twice and would be an high upside play as a starter in the explosive Chiefs offense if Ware is unable to go on the short week.

Josh Allen needs to be added in all leagues. I understand you are not planning to start him in the fantasy playoffs due to his floor but his ceiling is high enough that owners should make a strategic move to keep him off of rivals rosters. Allen has exploded on the ground over the past three weeks and has finished as the QB4, QB2 and QB6. To truly illuminate Allen’s dynamism on the ground, consider this: Josh Allen broke Michael Vick’s NFL record for the most rushing yards by a QB in a three game span. Any regular reader of this column knows how rare it is that I suggest a QB but the 86 percent available Josh Allen is a difference maker you simply cannot afford to let join a rival and subsequently knock you out of the playoffs.
