Rizzla presents his wide receiver rankings for week nine of the 2018 fantasy football season.
First we would like to shout out Adam Thielen for tying the NFL record for the most consecutive 100 yard receiving games ever.
With that out of the way we will touch on a crazy seven days at the wide receiver position. Doing his best to Wally Pipp Torrey Smith who missed week eight due to injury, rookie burner DJ Moore exploded for over 100 yards from scrimmage, forcing his way to a larger role in the process. Week eight also saw the return of Larry Fitzgerald from the dumpster fire that was Mike McCoy’s offense in Arizona and DeVante Parker finally break out. On the other side of the spectrum we saw Will Fuller tear his ACL off of a clumsy defensive pass interference penalty and both Martavis Bryant and Jordy Nelson all but disappear following Amari Cooper being traded to the Cowboys.
An exciting trade deadline helped shape our week nine rankings as both Demaryius Thomas and Golden Tate found themselves new homes, directly affecting the fantasy value of themselves along with Kenny Golladay, Marvin Jones, Courtland Sutton, Keke Coutee and Nelson Agholor, among others. These storylines and more helped form our week nine rankings for the wide receiver position.
