Rizzla presents his week sixteen IDP rankings and goes on a mini pro bowl rant over the Darius Leonard and Leighton Vander Esch snubs.
2018 Fantasy Football: Week Sixteen IDP Rankings
Darius Leonard is the biggest pro bowl snub I have seen in years, especially when one considers the player who made it over him
Player A: Leads the NFL with 99 solo tackles and with 47 assisted tackles, is sixth among linebackers with 12 tackles for loss, tied for ninth among linebackers (mostly OLB’s) with seven sacks, tied for tenth with six pass deflections, is third with four forced fumbles, is second with two fumble recoveries and has one interception
Player B: 58 solo tackles, 38 assists, five tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, four pass deflections and one forced fumble
Then consider player a missed the better part of two games this season
Which one do you think made the pro bowl? Which one should have?
Leonard has been bemoaned by some as not making the pro bowl as an outside linebacker but his exclusion is even more egregious when one considers he actually plays inside linebacker (707 to 23 snaps) and is listed inappropriately by NFL.com.

Leighton Vander Esch feels like a snub especially when one considers he has not even been a full time starter this season. With that said it is hard to argue against the talent
Player A: 88 solo tackles, 28 assisted tackles, two tackles for loss, seven pass deflections, two interceptions, 667 snaps
Player B: 88 solo tackles, 36 assisted tackles, 19 tackles for loss, two sacks, five pass deflections, one interception, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, 874 snaps
Player C: 69 solo tackles, 45 assisted tackles, five tackles for loss, one sack, one interception (pick six), two forced fumbles, 11 pass deflections, 798 snaps
Which two players should have made the pro bowl?
