Rizzla presents his wide receiver rankings for week ten of the 2018 fantasy football season.
Week nine was one marred by disappointments at the wide receiver position.
First we learned that AJ Green is set to be out at least until week 12 with the injury he suffered in week eight. In other spots we saw DJ Moore crater fantasy expectations with Torrey Smith on the shelf, in Denver we witnessed Courtland Sutton being outshined by Jeff Heuerman, and finally and perhaps most astoundingly we saw both Marvin Jones and Kenny Golladay fall flat on their faces versus the Minnesota Vikings. We have also witnessed promising offseason receivers Geronimo Allison and Paul Richardson placed on injured reserve.
In terms of positive developments we saw Marquez Valdes-Scantling solidify his hold on the number two role in Green Bay, a role that gained significantly more upside following the news on Tuesday that Geronimo was placed on IR.
Another major positive development was Michael Thomas getting back on track with a monster twelve receptions, 211 receiving yard performance. Thomas did well to remind his detractors as to why he is still a locked in WR1 despite weekly workload concerns.
The above storylines and more are reflected in our wide receiver rankings for week ten of the 2018 fantasy football season. As always we will be updating our rankings up until kickoff Sunday, so be sure to check back frequently for our latest updates and thoughts.
