Rizzla presents his QB rankings for week thirteen of the 2018 fantasy football season.
With the fantasy football regular season coming to an end and the playoff bound teams looking for an edge spotting emerging trends is key. At a QB position constantly in flux identifying which quarterbacks are actually playing at a QB1 level is critical for championship success.
The QB1’s in average fantasy points per game over the second half of the fantasy season are as follows:
- Jared Goff 28.0
- Patrick Mahomes 27.2
- Ben Roethlisberger 26.3
- Drew Brees 23.6
- Andrew Luck 22.8
- Deshaun Watson 22.4
- Cam Newton 22.2
- Russell Wilson 21.7
- Matt Ryan 20.7
- Mitch Trubisky 20.2
- Baker Mayfield 20.1
- Dak Prescott 19.7
There are a couple of names that may surprise some such as Baker Mayfield and Dak Prescott who have both been playing at a really high level following massive changes to their respective offenses. Baker saw both his head coach and offensive coordinator get fired and has been put in a position to succeed by his former QB coach Freddie Kitchens who is currently manning the interim tag for the Dawg Pound. Dak has seen Amari Cooper come to town and the rest of the offense has benefited greatly as the other Cowboys have seen an increase in average target separation, reception percentage and passer rating while seeing a decrease in tight window throws.
