0

Rizzla presents his running back rankings for week thirteen and takes a look at the RB1’s over the second half of the fantasy football season.

With the semi finals looming fantasy owners would do well to know which running backs have been the hottest over the second half of the season, especially with two names making their RB1 arguments in Aaron Jones and Nick Chubb. Below are the names who have ranked as RB1’s over the second half of the season.

  1. Christian McCaffrey 31.0
  2. Ezekiel Elliott 27.6
  3. Saquon Barkley 25.6
  4. Leonard Fournette 25.3
  5. Alvin Kamara 23.0
  6. Todd Gurley 22.7
  7. Nick Chubb 22.3
  8. Melvin Gordon 22.3
  9. Kareem Hunt 21.1
  10. James Conner 20.8
  11. Aaron Jones 20.6
  12. David Johnson 19.4

Todd Gurley took a massive hit in the average fantasy points department against the Kansas City Chiefs where he played banged up and barely touched the ball. CMC has been in a class all to himself in recent weeks while Nick Chubb has forced his way into the weekly RB1 conversation by bucking tough matchups and still producing. Aaron Jones is who we thought he was, while Leonard Fournette and David Johnson powered themselves back into the RB1 mix.

As always we will be updating our rankings up until kickoff Sunday afternoon so be sure to check back often for our latest updates and thoughts.
