2018 Fantasy Football: Week Three IDP Rankings

0

Week three is already underway and we are excited to take a look at our IDP rankings for this weeks contests. We will briefly touch on the biggest risers at each position.

At defensive line our biggest riser is Larry Ogunjobi of the Cleveland Browns, yes he has already played this week but he is a name to remember; especially for those of you who have to start a defensive tackle. Ogunjobi racked up ten tackles and three sacks through his first two contests and followed that up with an eight total tackle performance this week on Thursday Night Football. As any IDP veteran knows, high tackle counts from defensive lineman are golden. Add Larry where needed.

At defensive back our biggest riser is Derwin James who has helped keep the Chargers one of the best defenses in football despite missing Joey Bosa for the first two weeks and due to miss him again this week against the Rams. We had Derwin James conservatively ranked as a DB2 this off-season (17th overall DB) but he has already made himself a home in the weekly DB1 conversation. James is currently second on the team in total tackles, has two sacks, three passes defended and a tackle for loss and he is only getting started. Add James where available.

At linebacker our biggest riser so far this season has been rookie linebacker Darius Leonard of the Indianapolis Colts who has amassed a tremendous 28 total tackles and a sack over two contests with a whopping 21 of those being of the solo variety. Leonard will push to remain in the LB1 conversation the rest of the way and is someone you want to check your waiver wire for immediately.

As always we will be updating our rankings until game time and for those of you looking for our IDP thoughts before TNF the rankings on the tab above are updated on Tuesday night.
