The tight end position has already become a problem for many owners with Delanie Walker done for the year and Greg Olsen dealing with a multi-week injury. What was once a strong tight end position full of potential streaming options has now proven to be as shallow as ever with the loss of the two aforementioned TE1’s. Jonnu Smith, a WMFL favorite is bound to breakout once Marcus Mariota gets healthy but it does not look like Ian Thomas will be anything more than a bye week filler. The tight end position still has a lot of talent but there are now more TE2 types who can dud you any given sunday than there are dependable week to week options as we reveled in during the offseason.
