2018 Fantasy Football: Week Twelve Running Back Rankings

0

Rizzla briefly reviews the week that was at running back and presents his position rankings for week twelve.

Week eleven at the running back position was highlighted by the emergence of two new potential starters.

The Baltimore Ravens Gus Edwards and the Philadelphia Eagles Josh Adams look like the best fit for their teams schemes and should get every opportunity to continue to operate in a lead runner role.

In terms of Adams this ‘official’ ascension was long overdue with some offseason pundits going as far as to claim that Adams was a better runner than injured starter Jay Ajayi. Adams has limited competition in terms of talent on the depth chart behind him and should see all the work he can handle for the duration of the fantasy season.

In the case of Edwards, he is a fourth string running back that you would not have noticed as a casual fantasy football fan who did not watch Ravens games. A Rutgers standout with a 105.0 speed score Edwards offers a power element that complements Lamar Jackson’s slashing style and produces an undeniable synergy.

As always we will be updating our rankings up until kickoff both Thursday and Sunday so be sure to check back for our latest thoughts and updates.
