2018 Fantasy Football: Week Twelve Tight End Rankings

0

Rizzla briefly reviews the week that was at tight end and presents his rankings for week twelve.

Week eleven at the tight end position was highlighted by the returns of Antonio Gates and Jordan Reed to the TE1 mountain.

Jordan Reed saw a team high eleven targets this past Sunday hauling in seven of them for 77 yards and a touchdown. Reed strangely enough gets a fantasy value boost with Alex Smith lost for the season and Colt McCoy being installed under center and will return to the weekly TE1 mix.

Antonio Gates had a throwback game this past Sunday with five receptions for 80 yards and a touchdown and while he is still a low floor TE2 he does not come equipped with TE1 upside down the stretch. The Chargers will likely look to get Antonio Gates ready for the playoffs in their remaining six games giving Gates solid upside for owners who may find themselves in a pinch or in two tight end leagues.

As always we will be updating our rankings up until kickoff both Thursday and Sunday so be sure to check back for our latest thoughts and updates.
