After an injury-plagued 2009-10 season, Bell signed with the Utah Jazz and became their starting shooting guard. Playing alongside star point guard Deron Williams and coached by the longest-tenured head coach in American professional sports – Jerry Sloan, seemed to be the ideal fit for the veteran.
The Pistons aren’t exactly the most exciting team, but this could play to one’s advantage as its players can easily slip under the radar. T-Mac will be starting at point guard, moving Stuckey over to shooting guard. This season T-Mac has started six games at point guard and has averaged 11.2 points, 5.2 assists, and 4.5 rebounds.
The long-awaited ‘Melo’ trade would mean a return to fantasy-relevancy for both Richard Hamilton. Hamilton would start at shooting guard, considering that the Nets’ two previous SG starters Stephen Graham and Anthony Morrow, would be sent to Denver. Although his glory days are long gone, Rip can still score and has been averaging a career-high 1.2 three-pointers per game this season.
When given the minutes, Ramon Sessions has proved his fantasy-relevancy. In the 2008-09 season with Milwaukee, Sessions averaged 12.4 points, 5.7 assists, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per game despite coming off the bench for 40 of those games. Unfortunately, in 2009-10 and so far this season, he has averaged less than 23 minutes per game.
