DFS Values: DraftKings – Week Seven
Todd Gurley (CPP $219) – One of the top CPP plays all season Todd Gurley is looking like a must start in GPP contests this week over at DraftKings as he is expected to among the top fantasy producers this week but is only 14th in salary costs among running backs. The Rams should have an easy time with the Browns leading to more rushing opportunities for Gurley especially when the Rams go into ‘kill the clock’ mode. Fire Gurley up in all contests this week against a Browns defense giving up a league worst 147 rushing yards per game along with five receptions for 58 yards to opposing running backs this season.
Charcandrick West ($CPP 288) – West had a tough time against the Vikings last week including losing a late game fumble but coach Andy Reid continues to support West as the starter citing his similar skill set to Jamaal Charles allowing the offense to remain relatively unchanged. The Chiefs have an easier contest this week at home vs a Pittsburgh Steelers squad that in all likelihood will be starting third string quarterback Landry Jones this week. While the Steelers have been relatively stout against the run this year outside of Justin Forsett’s week four performance West is in line to be the focal point of the Chiefs offense and garner 18+ touches in a game the Chiefs are favoured in. Start West where possible.
Robert Woods (CPP $295) – Woods seems like a solid value play this week based on both actual salary ($3,300) and CPP ($295) with both Percy Harvin and Sammy Watkins ruled out for week seven. Woods has never been short on talent and has legitimate WR2 upside this week against a Jaguars defense that have given up some solid PPR outings to opposing wide receivers. Woods is a solid play for those of you looking to stud out some other parts of your lineups in 50/50 contests. Start Woods where needed if you are playing in an early contest.
Stefon Diggs (CPP $299) – Diggs is looking like the next big thing in PPR leagues and is line for another prolific week against the Lions this weekend. Diggs has been soaking up passing game targets and with Mike Wallace and AP attracting all of opposing defenses attention the slick slot man should be able to eat once again in week seven.
Ryan Fitzpatrick (CPP $291) – While Fitzpatrick is as average as they come when it comes to NFL caliber starting quarterbacks the fact of the matter is he has years of experience in this offense and should be the beneficiary of plenty of garbage time against a Patriots team’s that is not showing any mercy this year. The Jets are big dogs in this one and if this line holds true than the Jets will be forced to pass the ball a ton boosting Fitz’ upside for the day. Fitz is currently our top CPP play at QB and is a solid play for those looking for a matchup specific upside play at the QB position for week seven GPP and double up contests at DraftKings.
