Cousins erupted for 28 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 1 block and was perfect from the free throw stripe uncharacteristically making all six of his attempts.
This game comes on the heels of a a 21 point and 16 rebound performance against Memphis two games earlier and it is safe to say that when Cousins gets over 30 minutes of playing time that he is one of the best big men in the lkeague.
Cousins has averaged 12.6 rebounds in the seven contests he has managed to play over 30 minutes and with both Landry and Dalembert potential candidates to be moved by the trade deadline, Cousins’ path to consistent playing time will get less crowded.
Cousins has the potential to be a top-5 fantasy center by years end and would be a top-3 option if players like Gasol, Love and Griffin did not have eligibility at the position in some formats.
Coming into the season I ranked him as the number three fantasy center while ranking Gasol, Love and Griffin as power forwards.
If I had to redo my rankings today I would probably have him at number three with Love and Griffin at power forward and Gasol at center (where he has played extensively).
My top five would look like this:
Pau Gasol
Dwight Howard
DeMarcus Cousins
Brook Lopez
Al Jefferson
DeMarcus Cousins is finally showing signs of turning the corner in this so far tumultuous season and has given Kings fans and fantasy owners who have held onto him hope for 2011.
In Dynasty league formats you should do whatever you can to acquire Cousins as he will be a 20-10 player, and we all know how few and far in between talents like that are, especially at the center position.

Rizzla, I assume you have Amare listed as a PF? Because in my mind, he is the best center in the NBA (he is eligible at C in Yahoo! leagues), but you may have him listed at the 4…
Hey Jake,
Undoubtedly….
I have him as a PF….Amare would be #1 without a doubt if I ranked him as a C
I try to separate positions even though they may have dual eligibility
