DFS Values: FanDuel – Week Four
Demaryius Thomas (CPP $522) – Demaryius Thomas comes in as one of the top five cost per projected points wide receivers this week and his fantasy stock is trending upwards following Gary Kubiak agreeing to go back to the spread formation Peyton Manning has thrived in his entire career. This is obviously good news for the Broncos receivers and with a tasty matchup against the Vikings on the docket we can expect Thomas to have another big week. Thomas is averaging eight receptions and almost 90 yards per game on the season and displays the type of consistency we look for when surrendering the coin for big price tags at any position.
Julio Jones (CPP $521) – Julio Jones is a man on fire. Julio leads the NFL in targets, receptions and receiving yards and is second in the NFL in touchdowns. Julio Jones is having the season of a lifetime and FanDuel players like you and I are advised to buy in every week and enjoy the ride.
Matt Ryan (CPP $396) – Matt Ryan comes in this week as one of the top CPP values at his position and could be in for a big game in a contest where the Falcons are 6.5 point favourites and against a defense that includes JJ Watt and looks formidable enough against the run to hold DeVonta Freeman in check. Matt Ryan has one of the best weapons in all of football at his disposal and Julio Jones is capable of making Ryan look good all by himself. Ryan is a solid, solid value this week and should be plugged into lineups where the rest of your lineup will allow.
Karlos Williams (CPP $451) – With Lesean McCoy looking doubtful for this weekends contest against the Giants talented rookie Karlos Williams is pegged as a top ten option until McCoy is listed as active for week four. Williams was arguably a top five rookie running back based on talent but fell due to off field concerns and than generated little to no hype in the offseason due to being slotted behind Lesean McCoy, Fred Jackson and Bryce Brown. With Jackson and Brown both gone and McCoy on the mend Williams will look to improve on his impressive week three performance in which he put up 110 yards and a score on 12 rushing attempts. Get the talented Williams into lineups this weekend if McCoy does indeed miss time or will be limited, the Bills, who are favoured by 5.5 points, should win this one handily and provide plenty of rushing attempts for their backfield.
Le’veon Bell (CPP $505) – With Big Ben sidelined Le’veon Bell actually gets a value boost while the wide receivers on this team see a decrease. Michael Vick while not the gamebreaker he once was still commands respect due to his scrambling ability and that should help loosen the box even more in a offensive gameplan that will likely call for a heavy dose of rushes with a multitude of dumpoffs to both Bell and tight end Heath Miller. Bell has a big salary at $8,900 but is arguably the top running back option for week four and should help carry your team to placing in the money if you choose to add him to your squad.
