Box Score Boxing 10.06.10
Fantasy Basketball Box Score Boxing is a daily feature where we take a look at and analyze some of the most intriguing fantasy basketball lines of the night. This is a preview of the content we will be providing daily during the regular season.
John Wall had an impressive 21 points, 9 assists and 4 steals. The steals are a reason to bump him up your cheat sheets. The box score doesn’t say it all as John Wall made it look easy.
Wesley Mathews had 20 points 4 rebounds and 3 assists off the bench and figures to play a major role in the Blazers offense. Bump him up your cheat sheets.
DeMarcus Cousins had 16 points and 16 rebounds on 8 for 13 shooting. DeMarcus is going to be a stud this year.
Tyreke Evans had 26 points, 5 assists and 3 rebounds with 2 three’s. The threes are particularly interesting and will add some fantasy value to his game.
Kyle Korver had 22 points off the bench for the Bulls and may emerge as the most valuable wing on the Bulls besides Luol Deng.
Udonis Haslem had 14 and 13 off the bench for the Miami Heat. Haslem figures to have more value than anyone not names Bosh who starts at center for the Miami Heat.
Terrence Williams had 20 points, 8 assists and 4 rebounds on 9 for 12 shooting for the New Jersey Nets. T-Will is set to be the fantasy stud we all knew he would be.
Marresse Speights had 19 points and 9 rebounds for the 76ers. The 11 trips to the line will earn him a role in this offense.
J.J Hickson had 17 points and 9 rebounds off the bench. We expected him to start at PF but Jamison got the start with Jamario Moon at SF. We don’t expect this to last and Hickson should be starting by the end of preseason.
Evan Turner had a quiet 12 points and 7 rebounds but made it to the line 12 times making 10 of his shots. Expectations need to be tempered with Turner for the 1st half of the season as he will need a little time to get acclimated to the NBA game.
