Fantasy Basketball Box Score Boxing 10.29.10 – Rondo is mad
In Fantasy Basketball Box Score Boxing Win My Fantasy League writer Rizzla takes a look at the previous nights most interesting fantasy lines and provides some insight and analysis to utilize going forward.
Rajon Rondo was the fantasy beast of the night with 10 points, 24 assists, yes 24 assists, and 10 rebounds. Rondo is out to prove he does indeed deserve to be in the conversation for best point guard in the NBA and he wont stop until he hears his name.
Andre Igoudala had 27 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals and a block, he also chipped in 2 three-pointers and had quite the fantasy night for his owners.
Danny Granger blew up for a monster fantasy line and ended the night with 35 points, 5 rebounds. 3 assists, 2 blocks and 1 steal with 6 three-pointers. This was a show and prove for those who doubted his first round pedigree.
Reggie Evans had 2 points and 14 rebounds, and is now averaging 15 rebounds a game over 2 games. He makes for a good short-term add in dynasty leagues. Ride the hot streak until it fizzles.
Lamar Odom had 18 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists and if he keeps playing like this you can bet that Andrew Bynum will be demoted to a bench role upon his return from injury.
Linas Kleiza broke out for the Raptors with 19 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 3 three-pointers. Linas should take over as the #1 option from Bargnani until DeRozan takes the job and as he proved today he is more than capable.
Fantasy Alert: Terrence Williams only got 12 minutes and was a fantasy non-factor.
Devin Harris had 21 points, 10 assists and 5 rebounds and is off to a terrific start to the fantasy basketball season.
Paul Pierce had 25 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists and put it on for his fantasy owners.
KG proved that he has still got it and snuffed fantasy owners who passed him up on draft day to the tune of 24 points and 10 rebounds.
Emeka Okafor had 13 points and 8 rebounds and added 4 blocks to boot, and this is just a reminder that Okafor is a solid C and that his point total in the first game was an aberration.
Carmelo Anthony had 24 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists and a steal and was solid as usual for his fantasy owners.
Ben Gordon broke out and is worth an immediate add in all fantasy leagues. He finished the game with 34 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 three-pointers.
Russell Westbrook had yet another solid game to the tune of 17 points, 11 assists and 6 rebounds. He also chipped in 2 steals and is proving once again that he has what it takes to be a starting PG in the NBA.
Serge Ibaka had 16 points, 10 rebounds and 2 blocks for the Thunder and is worth the add for big man needy teams. Krstic got the start but Ibaka got almost 10 minutes more of playing time.
Kevin Love had a monster night with 17 points and 16 rebounds for the T-Wolves.
The real Michael Beasley finally showed up and he put it on for 21 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal. Wait for a dud game and make the move to acquire.
Pau Gasol had 22 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists for a near triple-double and should be a top-5 C most of the way this season.
Wesley Johnson got more minutes than Wayne Ellington and this is a trend we expect to continue until they make it official.
Robin Lopez flashed some of his fantasy potential racking in a big night for owners with 18 points and 14 rebounds.
Monta Ellis had a unexpected 11 assists a game after his 46 point outburst and is showing versatility that can seriously boost his fantasy stock.
