Fantasy Basketball Box Score Boxing 11.20.10 – Stephen Jackson Triple Doubles; Blake Griffin Explodes
Stephen Jackson triple doubled with an amazing 24 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. S-Jax remains Charlotte’s top option in the back court and will continue to get heavy minutes the rest of the season barring any roster changes. S-Jax added 2 blocks, 2 steals and 4 threes to round out his terrific fantasy line against the Suns.
Blake Griffin had one will likely go down as one of the best games of his career with 44 points, 15 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals and 1 block against the New York Knicks. He really put on a show and did it all on an incredible .583% shooting with 16 free throws made out of 23 attempts. Blake Griffin’s dynasty value is at an all time high right now but we don’t suggest a deal unless you get something that knocks your socks off.
Goran Dragic did his best Steve Nash impression and finished the game with 17 points and 10 assists for a solid double double. He added 4 rebounds, 1 three and 1 steal to round out his fantasy line.
Dwight Howard went off for 25 points, 13 rebounds and 3 blocks and despite the amazing fantasy line it just feels like business as usual for a player as special as D-12.
Amare Stoudemire had an electric 39 points and 11 rebounds against the Clippers and has really been turning it on as of late. He added 2 blocks and 2 assists to round out his fantasy line.
Chris Bosh had his third straight strong game for the Heat and seems to finally be finding his groove and is silencing critics along the way. He finished the night with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
LBJ had 29 points and 11 assists and because its LeBron, and only because its LeBron this fantasy line leaves some wanting more. He added only 3 rebounds to go with 2 threes.
Zach Randolph had a solid 21 points and 13 rebounds off the bench for the Grizzlies and continues to get it done in the point and rebound categories. See if you can parlay Randolph’s past couple of performances into a similarly skilled big who can provide more in the peripheral categories.
Al Horford was a fantasy beast and finished the night with 20 points, 20 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 blocks. Horford has been averaging close to 17 points and 10 rebounds on the season.
Josh Smith was a thief Saturday night and finished the contest against the Mavericks with 5 steals to go along with 21 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds. Josh Smith’s fantasy game is simply on another level.
Tiago Splitter had 18 points, 5 rebounds, 2 blocks and 2 steals off the bench for the Spurs and is worth the add in deeper leagues.
James Harden exploded for 29 points, 9 rebounds, 6 threes, 4 assists and 1 steal against the Bucks and has looked solid getting the start at shooting guard in Kevin Durant’s absence. Harden is a lot more talented than incumbent starter Thabo Sefolosha but Thabo’s defense will probably keep him as a starter for the time being.
Drew Gooden was solid once again and finished the night with 16 points, 16 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 block against the Thunder. Check your wire to see if he is still available.
Al Jefferson exploded for 20 points, 14 rebounds, 2 blocks and 1 steal against the Blazers and continues to impress with the Jazz. I love the front court of Al Jefferson and Paul Millsap that Deron Williams has at his disposal and expect big things from these three the rest of the way.
Raymond Felton had an amazing 7 steals to go with 20 points, 7 assists, 3 rebounds, 3 threes and 1 steal. Felton continues to impress in Mike D’Antoni’s offense which has been a major boost for his fantasy value.
