Gilbert Arenas got the start at point guard for the Wizards and responded with 19 points, 16 assists, 4 rebounds and 1 three on .500% shooting from the field. Arenas displayed that he has still got what it takes at point guard and likely increased his trade value going forward.
Pau Gasol continues to be the fantasy beast and finished the night perfect from the field on a perfect 10 for 10 shooting. He amassed a crazy 28 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks and has taken it to yet another level this year.
JaVale McGee had another strong fantasy performance with a brilliant 20 point, 16 rebound and 2 block outing for the Wizards. He has been picking it up as late with John Wall out of the lineup.
Charlie Villanueva went off for 25 points, 11 rebounds, 4 threes and 1 block against the Wizards and coming off the bench or starting needs to be started in fantasy leagues due to his upside.
Amir Johnson went off for 17 points, 11 rebounds and 1 block off the strength a perfect night from the free throw line where he went nine for nine. He shot .800 from the field. It is frustrating that Amir Johnson does not start for the Raptors even though it is blatantly obvious he has more offensive upside than Reggie Evans, but the Raptors plan to keep it like for foul management purposes.
Reggie Evans went off for a near double double of 9 points and 16 rebounds. He will only provide rebounds but should be owned in all except for the shallowest of leagues.
Chris Paul logged 40 minutes and produced 9 points, 17 assists, 7 rebounds and 5 steals for the New Orleans Hornets. Owners worried about the Jarrett Jack trade shouldn’t be as Jack will be used merely to keep Paul fresh and will also likely see the floor with him in certain situations.
