Carmelo Anthony exploded for 39 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 threes and 2 steals for the Nuggets. Carmelo is a decent sell high if you can get the right return as uncertainty still looms as to where he will be playing after the all-star break.
Kevin Love has gone crazy and the Timberwolves are officially one of the brightest young teams in the NBA. Kevin Love demolished the Thunder for a fantastic fantasy line of 24 points, 17 rebounds and 4 threes. These threes are a welcome bonus and indicate that Kevin Love has yet another level.
Kevin Durant had 28 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 blocks and 1 steal against the T-Wolves and had one of his best stat stuffing lines of the year. Kevin Durant has very little holes in his fantasy game but the one area he can improve is the assist category so it is nice to see those numbers on the rise lately.
Kevin Garnet had 17 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal and 1 block on .800% shooting from the field and made KG fans feel nostalgic for a night.
DeMarcus Cousins had 18 points and 9 rebounds for the Sacramento Kings and seems to be turning a corner as of late due to his aggressiveness in getting to the line.
David West went off again this time for 30 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the New Orleans Hornets. It is great to see West up his rebound numbers.
Blake Griffin was solid once again this time chipping in 24 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 blocks for the Clippers. The Clippers have a very bright future and proved it by beating the Hornets last night.
Danny Granger had 20 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 threes, 3 steals and 1 block in an upset win over the Heat.
Kyle Lowry had another strong night as the Rockets starting point guard and finished with an impressive 6 steals to go with 13 points and 8 assists on .600% shooting.
Dwight Howard exploded for 26 points, 18 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 blocks on 7 for 8 shooting from the field.
Matt Bonner was solid once again and had 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 threes in 36 minutes. When Bonner is feeling it like tonight he will get heavy minutes over Splitter or Blair.
Manu Ginobli went off for 26 points, 9 assists, 6 rebounds and 3 threes. These are the types of nights that highlight Manu’s upside as a solid fantasy starter.
Chris Bosh had 21 points, 11 rebounds, 2 blocks and 1 steal in a loss for the Miami Heat.
Shaquille O’neal had a double double of 13 points and 11 rebounds for the Celtics.
Jordan Hill went 14 and 10 off the bench for the Rockets and is worth a look in the deepest leagues. He loses most of his value when Yao Ming returns.
