Fantasy Basketball Box Score Boxing 12.01.10 – Russell Westbrook Is On Fire
Russell Westbrook has become a fantasy phenom and exploded once again for 38 points, 15 rebounds, 9 assists and 3 steals. Westbrook has become Batman to Kevin Durant’s Superman as he has been too impressive to relegate as a mere Robin. There are still some holes in his fantasy game but it is ever improving and he has made himself a 2nd-3rd round worthy with his gaudy numbers this season.
Larry Sanders narrowly missed a triple double with blocks as he finished the night with 14 points, 10 rebounds and 8 blocks starting in place of the injured Andrew Bogut. He flashed some of his tremendous upside tonight and if the Bucks fall out of the playoff race you can bet he will see some starts down the stretch. He also had 2 steals on the night. He is someone to add in the deepest of leagues.
Blake Griffin went off again, this time for 31 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and 1 block. Griffin is beginning his ascension to the fantasy elite with his production in the peripheral categories.
Lamar Odom looks like an all-star again and finished the night with 25 points, 11 rebounds, 2 blocks, 2 threes and 1 steal against the Rockets.
Deron Williams is causing the best point guard in the NBA debate to grow louder and louder and provided more evidence to support his claim with a terrific 24 points, 16 assists, 2 steals and 1 three.
Jeff Green went off for 37 points, 5 rebounds, 4 threes and 4 assists in a triple overtime thriller against the Nets.
Brook Lopez had his first double double of the season with 28 points and 11 rebounds; he added 3 blocks on the night vs. the Thunder.
Jordan Farmar made the best of his starting opportunity and responded with 28 points, 9 assists, 3 threes and 2 steals for the Nets.
Zach Randolph went off for 19 points, 19 rebounds and 2 blocks. Z-Bo is rock solid but this may be the time to sell high.
Al Horford had 20 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assist, 2 steals and 1 block for the Hawks. Horford has been impressive thus far this season and shows no signs of slowing down.
Wesley Matthews had 23 points, 5 threes and 2 steals for the Blazers and needs to be owned in all leagues now that he is starting in place of Nicolas Batum.
Greg Monroe had 15 points, 8 rebounds and 1 steal for the Pistons is 31 minutes of play against the Miami Heat.
Emeka Okafor went off again, this time for 14 points, 13 rebounds and 2 blocks.
Jameer Nelson had an impressive fantasy line with 24 points, 9 assists, 4 rebounds, 3 threes and 2 steals.
Kevin Love had 12 points and 15 rebounds in performance that would be impressive for any player not named Dwight Howard or Kevin Love.
DeMar DeRozan went off for 20 points and 6 rebounds for the Raptors and is worth a look in the leagues he was dropped in.
John Wall was impressive against the Raptors and tallied 18 points, 9 assists and 2 steals in 32 minutes of action.
Andrea Bargnani had 18 points and 8 rebounds for the Raptors. He added a block and three assists to round out his fantasy line.
Tyson Chandler went off again this time for 9 points, 18 rebounds and 1 block.
Jerryd Bayless had 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the Raptors and this is a sign of things to come. He is a solid buy in dynasty leagues and is in line for a bigger role down the stretch. Make the add in the deepest leagues only, otherwise add to your watch list.
J.R Smith had 20 points, 10 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 threes for the Nuggets. Its time to add him if he is sitting on your leagues wire.
