Fantasy Basketball Buzzer Beater for Nov. 30th – Carl Landry and Nicolas Batum benched

0

Carl Landry is the latest King starter to get benched. Also, former Kings starter and promising rookie DeMarcus Cousins was kicked out of practice by coach Westphal on Monday.  Check out the fantasy impact of the starting rotation carousel in Sacramento.

Nicolas Batum was benched at the start of the second half in favour of Wesley Matthews in last Sunday’s game versus the Nets. Looks like this change will stick. Matthews is slated to start on Tuesday night alongside Brandon Roy and Andre Miller, while Batum will come off the bench.  Batum has superior defensive abilities, but Matthews provides more of an offensive threat.  He can score with the best of them and he will have a greater opportunity as a starter.  Check if Matthews is available in your league as many had dropped him once Brandon Roy had returned.

Carlos Boozer is probable for Friday night’s game against the Pistons.  It has been reported that Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau plans to start Boozer in his first game back, meaning Boozer should be fantasy-relevant immediately.

Stephen Jackson has been suspended for one game after “verbally abusing” a referee and refusing to leave the court lat Saturday.

Raptors rookie Ed Davis will likely make his NBA debut this Wednesday against the Wizards.  The 13th overall selection in this year’s draft spent the past week in the D-League to get back into game shape.  With Reggie Evans out for at least four weeks, Davis should be immediately thrust into the rotation.
