Fantasy Basketball Buzzer Beater Nov. 23rd – Top Rookies, Milicic’s career week, and injury updates

1

Check out the All-NBA Rookie team for the month of November.  There are some surprises, including one player that is available in almost all fantasy leagues.

Darko Milicic had one of the most productive weeks in his entire career.  ESPN analyzes whether this week’s most added player is worth the pickup.

Vince Carter left Monday’s game against the Spurs with a knee injury.  If he misses any time, J.J. Redick would likely start in his place.  But the real winner could be Mickael Pietrus, who would get a bump in minutes from any VC absence.  Pietrus has been productive whenever he has been given the minutes, which have been inconsistent this season. I would hold off on picking up Pietrus or Redick until we hear more as Carter has been known to take himself out of the game, only to return the next night.

John Wall will be a gametime decision for Tuesday’s game versus the 76ers.  He has been out with a foot injury since November 14th, but there is optimism considering that he did participate in the pre-game warm-up in the last Wizards’ game on November 21st against the Pistons.

It doesn’t look like Kris Humpries will relinquish the starting PF spot anytime soon. Not only is Hump playing well, but Troy Murphy did not even travel with the team in their most recent road trip. Instead, he stayed behind in New Jersey to work on his strength and conditioning.

Good news for Chris Kaman owners.  Kaman may be back a week ahead of schedule and could play this Thursday November 25th against the Kings.
