Clippers Head Coach Vinny Del Negro has voiced his displeasure with Baron Davis’ lack of conditioning on several occasions.  On November 2nd, according to ESPN, Baron Davis addressed the issue and agreed with his coach’s assessment.  Davis sat out the last Clipper game to nurse a sore right knee.  With Randy Foye also inactive, rookie Eric Bledsoe got the start last Monday providing a monster defensive line with 4 steals, 2 blocks, and 5 rebounds.  He also had 9 points, 3 assists, and a three-pointer. This game should immediately put him on fantasy watch for redraft leagues.  He should be picked up in dynasty leagues as he was drafted to eventually replace Baron Davis.  With the injury proneness of Baron and the limited upside from Foye, Bledsoe could be fantasy-relevant by midseason.

Anthony Randolph is expected to play Thursday night against the Bulls.  This will be Randolph’s first game of the season after spraining his ankle in practice two weeks ago.  He will have to work his way back into the rotation as his preseason production left much to be desired.

Speaking of the Knicks, Landry Fields has been their biggest surprise. This 2nd round pick has started all three games and has contributed in points, rebounds, threes, and steals.  The disbelief in the fantasy community still exists as he is owned in just 19% of Yahoo leagues.  Both Bill Walker and Wilson Chandler are coming off the bench, and the way Fields is playing, this situation is not likely to change anytime soon.

After falling hard on to the court, Beasley immediately grabbed his hip and was taken straight to the locker room in the 2nd quarter of last night’s game against the Heat.  But Michael Beasley owners can rest easy as the Minnesota forward was diagnosed with just a bruise.

Fantasy Knuckleheads gives you some ‘under the radar’ pickups including James Jones, who is 2nd in the NBA in three-pointers.

Our friends at Jordan Pushed Off, go deep into the New York Knicks rebuilding situation, discussion the potential acquisition of Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, and even Greg Oden.
