Fantasy Football Championship Week Rankings

Congratulations if you are still in the championship hunt this season and we are hopeful that we were able to be of some assistance in your push to the ‘promised land’.

Adrian Peterson comes in as the number one overall running back and fantasy play for the week as he continues his quest for a 2,000 yard season and now for the overall single season rushing record. Both landmarks are firmly within his grasp and there is now no one who believes he will not surpass 2,000 yards as well as Eric Dickerson rushing record. AP is also in the MVP debate this season which is a testament to just how stellar of a season he is really having as that award typically goes to quarterbacks.

Calvin Johnson is also on a quest to break a single season record having just become the first player in NFL history with back to back 1,600 yard seasons. The Lions are out of the playoff hunt and devoid of any other competent wideouts so Megatron will be force fed the ball early and often as Matthew Stafford tries to help Megatron etch his name in the NFL record books. Calvin Johnson remains our number one ranked receiver for week sixteen.

Aaron Rodgers comes in as the number one ranked QB this week as the Green Bay Packers find themselves in a must win situation as they continue to angle for playoff positioning in the NFC. With James Jones and Randall Cobb having career seasons Rodgers has the most explosive set of weapons he has ever had thus far in his career. Expect Aa-Rod to put up the big game you have been waiting the last few weeks for.
