Fantasy Football Fix August 28th 2010
Cadillac Williams seems like he will be a solid ADP value and ESPN Insiders Eric Karabell agrees. Other ADP values he lists includes scorching sleeper Bernard Berrian, Mike Wallace, Jerome Harrison, Ahmad Bradshaw and in a surprise Fred Jackson (we like C.J Spiller)
Stay away from DeSean Jackson in fantasy football drafts? That is the advice ESPN Insider’s Eric Karabell offers to fantasy football fans. He also suggests we stay away from Reggie Bush, Anquan Boldin and Felix Jones. His rationale….well you will have to give his article a read to find out.
Arian Foster impressed in preseason action and has the Texans feature back role locked up….Arian Foster should have been a faster riser after Ben Tate was lost for the season, but as is the case with most sleepers…fantasy football G.M’s are still sleeping on Foster….his time may b limited to this year but he is a rock solid RB2 this year so adjust your cheat sheets accordingly.
Leon Washington got the start in Seattle and he is a solid sleeper and is the Win My Fantasy League favorite to start in Seattle…Pete Carroll has been gushing about Leon all off-season and he has proven healthy and will be handed the largest role in this backfield as long as he can handle it.
Victor Cruz shows up again with a touchdown against the Ravens and he is a good bet to lock up the 4th receiver role after tonight with Barden dealing with an injury. This is a deep corps of wide-outs and only the top-2 WR on the Giants will be fantasy starters or relevant until on of Mario Manningham, Victor Cruz or Ramses Barden creates some separation.
Undrafted rookie Stephen Williams of the Arizona Cardinals is officially a sleeper; here’s why: Stephen Williams has been impressing heavily with Derek Anderson as his QB, now that D.A has the full-time job Williams is set to have a solid season and may be worth a late-round flier in the deepest leagues (250+ player pool) and should be immediately placed on your watch list.
