Fantasy Football Fix Dec 2nd 2010
In Today’s Fantasy Football Fix: Adrian Peterson will play this week; Brian Westbrook will be the feature back despite limited practice during the week; Brandon Marshall to play this week; Mike Sims-Walker out and more….
Adrian Peterson practiced on Friday and will give it a go on Sunday. Unless you already have your playoff spot locked up than you have to play AP this weekend.
Mike Tolbert is expected to play this week and should function as the primary back fresh off back to back 100 yard games. Tolbert is a low-end RB3 due to the injury.
Mike Sims-Walker has been ruled out for week 13. This makes Mike Thomas a must-own fantasy player as he will step up as the Jaguars number one receiver.
DeSean Jackson will get his new contract in due time according to the Eagles.
Brian Westbrook will play this week even though he is getting time off in practice. Expect him to see 15-20 touches on the game. Westbrook is a solid RB3 with RB2 upside.
Rex Ryan admits he feels like he made a mistake in cutting Danny Woodhead now of the Patriots in favor of rookie disappointment Joe McKnight.
Marion Barber is out for week 13 and likely for week 14 as well. Felix Jones is a solid RB2 with Barber out of the lineup. Tashard Choice also becomes a hot pickup.
Brandon Marshall expects to play this weekend vs. the Browns in what could prove to be season saving news for some of his fantasy owners. He may not see a full complement of snaps but needs to be in lineups at this critical juncture of the season.
Chaz Schilens has finally returned to practice.
Thursdays game is already in the books but if you need a last minute hot pickup, check out our pickups of the week.
Ryan Torain has returned to practice but is likely to see limited action this week, but should be rearing to go by the all important week 14.
