Fantasy Football Fix July 29th 2010
In today’s fantasy football fix we will give you a quick snapshot of Yahoo Fantasy Sports writers love/hate lists which is essentially and undervalued and overvalued list.
The Yahoo Fantasy Football team of Brad Evans, Andy Behrens and Scott Pianowski have released their annual players I love more than you lists.
Starting with Brad Evans some names he mentions that we wholly agree with and probably love more than you also include Jahvid Best, Michael Bush and Wes Welker. I see Best as a potential top-12 back, the Raiders should pound the ball 500+ times creating enough carries form both Bush and D-Mac and Welker is ready to go and deserving of major jumps up cheat sheets.
Andy Behrens includes Devin Thomas, LeSean McCoy, Chaz Schilens and C.J Spiller. McCoy is primed for a breakout season, both Thomas and Schilens have significant upgrades at quarterback and Spiller, as Behrens said, was not drafted 9th to be buried on the depth chart beside the effective yet pedestrian Fred Jackson.
Scott Pianowski has the best list and I agree with everyone but Ahmad Bradshaw, the names include Cutler, Calvin Johnson, Jermichael Finley, Johnny Knox, Tom Brady and Dustin Keller. All players who should exceed their ADP in fantasy value.
The Yahoo Fantasy Sports team also released its “Ten Players I hate more than you list”, and the lists were interesting. One thing to remember, this list is detailing who may be overvalued in current drafts…not who will be a bust.
Andy Behrens list includes Steven Jackson, Matt Forte and Pierre Thomas, all names we here at WMFL disagree with as we think thy will outplay their current ADP’s.
Scott Pianowski’s list includes Michael Crabtree who we argues is going too early, and also includes Ronnie Brown and Matt Forte two backs that are in concerning timeshares not to mention the injury risk associated with Ronnie Brown.
Brad Evans’ list includes a list of eye-popping names including Ronnie Brown, Beanie Wells, Rashard Mendenhall, DeAngelo Williams and more. Evans is my favorite Yahoo writer and I tend to agree with him the most, just remember this is an overvalued list…not a bust list.
