Fantasy Football Fix Nov 12 2010 – Injury Updates
In Today’s Fantasy Football Fix: Tim Hightower to start; Percy Harvin questionable; Steve Smith of the Giants out for two weeks; Roddy White explodes on Thursday Night Football and more
Tim Hightower will likely get the start this weekend in place of the injured Beanie Wells. Good news for fantasy owners who held onto Hightower following news of his demotion.
Kerry Collins took most of the first-team snaps and looks like he will be the starting QB this weekend. He stayed after practice to go through route combinations with Titans new WR Randy Moss.
Steve Smith of the New York Giants is said to be out for at least the next two games with a pectoral injury suffered in practice while extending for the ball. Mario Manningham is the beneficiary.
Percy Harvin is listed as questionable with his migraines and you need to check in around 11:30-12:30 and we will give you an update on twitter @fantasysportdoc. We are putting him in our lineups and fully expect him to play.
Jonathan Stewart and DeAngelo Williams have both been ruled out for this weekend and Mike Goodson will get the start for the Panthers. He is a solid flex in standard leagues and is a sneaky RB3 in PPR leagues because of his exceptional hands.
Sidney Rice is on track to make his return this week but likely will not play a full complement of snaps.
