Fantasy Football Fix Oct 28th 2010

In Today’s Fantasy Football Fix: The Daily Show is set to hit the ground in Carolina; James Starks may not be activated from the PUP list; Donald Brown to start for the Colts on Monday Night Football and more….

Lions Panthers FootballDeAngelo Williams will be a game-time decision and either way Jonathan Stewart deserves a major boost up your weekly rankings. He is now a solid RB2 with RB1 upside, especially if DeAngelo miss the game.

Dexter McCluster will miss multiple weeks with a high ankle sprain and he is probably safe to drop for now if redraft leagues. If the needs is apparent make a move to acquire him when he returns to the practice filed but he does not have the upside to carry while injured.

James Starks may not be activated from the PUP list if the Packers dont deem him ready to contribute this season. This is a big blow to owners who were keeping Starks in their cache hoping for a late season impact. Hold onto him in dynasty leagues and redraft leagues but we will know in a week whether or not he will play this season. James Davis makes a nice replacement as Ryan Torain’s potential new backup and handcuff.

Ronnie Brown appears to be in his last year with the Miami Dolphins who were rumoured to be looking at a replacement in the draft this year. Brown is very talented but cheaper, less risky backs are available every April in the draft.

Joseph Addai is expected to be out for Monday Night Football and Donald Brown will draw the start. This is essentially Donald Brown’s job audition and we expect him to do well and make a case to be the full-time feature back next year.
