ajAndre Johnson has missed three straight days of practice and despite his proclamation he will play this is looking like a game-time decision with a high ankle sprain. He is arguably the best in the league so get alternative options if he is not ready to go, you can’t sit him without knowing for sure.

Clinton Portis will start for the Redskins this Sunday and Ryan Torain or no Torain is expected to maintain a role in the backfield due to his plus pass protection skills.

Pierre Thomas returned to practice Friday and is expected to start against Carolina this weekend. He should be limited so if you have other options to go with than they may be the better bet. DeShawn Wynn was signed from the practice squad so there is still some concern in New Orleans regarding Thomas’ ability to shoulder a full workload even if he does return.

ESPN’s Christopher Harris analyzes each game on the slate this week from a fantasy football perspective. A must-read.

Fred Taylor has been ruled out for Monday’s contest against the  Dolphins and all of a sudden BenJarvus Green-Ellis is looking like a solid low-end RB2.
